In partnership with Athletes for Education and Walmart, the Chula Vista Police Foundation held its annual holiday food and toy giveaway on December 19, 2017.  More than 1000 needy South Bay families attended this holiday event at Chula Vista Walmart on 1150 Broadway.

Santa Claus arrived in his sleigh to greet children and hand out gifts and candy canes. The Chula Vista Police Department raffled off 15 bicycles to children in attendance.

Chula Vista Police Chief Roxana Kennedy proudly stated “This is our opportunity to give back to the community and to show that there is a heart behind the badge.”
