Mission

The Foundation’s mission is to provide the Chula Vista Police Department with support for training, programs, and specialized equipment that help ensure a safer community for everyone who lives in, works in, or visits our city.

Purpose

The Chula Vista Police Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides funding for specialized equipment, training, and community programs that are not covered in the City budget. These programs include the Drone as First Responder (DFR) program, the Shoe & Sock Drive, the Holiday Meal & Toy Giveaway, SWAT, Tactical Operations, K9, the Cadet Program, and the Senior Volunteer Patrol.

Our Board of Directors is made up of community leaders who are passionate about public safety and committed to raising funds that enhance the department’s efforts. Their work helps provide state‑of‑the‑art technology, essential equipment, and meaningful engagement programs that benefit the entire Chula Vista community.
